ABOUT ME

My passion for therapy started as a little girl, fascinated by the complexity of humans both in their experiences and emotions. In high school I began taking psychology classes to begin to explore my interest in the human mind. It was in those first classes where I felt a strong motivation and passion to further my education.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. Following graduation, I immediately immersed myself into the mental health field by working for a local acute psychiatric facility for three years, gaining knowledge and experience serving those suffering from severe mental health diagnosis.

I went on to receive my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy. I completed my graduate level practicum working for a board and care serving clients with schizophrenia spectrum disorders. As a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern I committed myself to take on all challenges presented to me, working with clients in a broad range of diagnosis and presenting problems.

In 2018, I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with the Board of Behavioral Sciences for the state of California. As a licensed therapist I have worked in substance abuse treatment as a therapist and clinical director. The majority of my time as an LMFT has been in private practice. I have recently taken on the role of supervision, educating and guiding therapy intern/associates on their journey toward licensure.

I am an advocate for working toward balance and healthy boundaries. I am married with three kids and it is my family who bring me a true sense of joy and another level of purpose in my life. I am an active member in my church community, enjoy spending time connecting with friend and love being outside.

If you can’t figure out your purpose, figure out your passion. For your passion will lead you right into your purpose.
