Client Experience and Approach to Therapy
Working with a wide variety of clients and diagnosis has reinforced my belief that we are uniquely different in our experiences, family history, core beliefs, values, strengths and weaknesses. In recognition of this I strive to create individualized care for each client that comes through the doors, collaborating with my client to develop a strong therapeutic treatment plan to meet their needs. I believe in a client centered approach and incorporate solution focused, attachment theory, DBT and CBT interventions. My training roots stem from a traditional psychoanalysis and Jung, which I incorporate into my work when appropriate for the client’s needs. Spirituality is also a part of interventions I offer in our work, but is upon the request of the client.
